Your best in a while
When I saw this on your site for the first time I must have watched it for like 15 minutes, haha. I love it.
Well that was different.
Pretty experimental, but I liked it. It had a unique feel to it which is more than can be said about a lot of the things here. At some parts you got really creative.
The score is pretty bullcrap right now. Hopefully it goes up.
Abysmal in pretty much every aspect
Animation- Same 'ol same 'ol. Do I even have to say anything? Anything I could possibly write here has been said and resaid 50 million times and all you do is ignore it. Ugly tweened gradient raped characters with little to no real animation.
Humor- Pretty much all your humor seems to revolve around one kind of joke: characters veering off topic and acting "silly and random." It's not even funny the first time and that's pretty much the only thing you do.
Voice Acting- This is probably the worst part of all. You read your lines in such a lifeless kitsch infused way it's painful to listen to. Tip, if the character is talking to someone, read the lines as if the character is actually talking to someone.
My advice would be to step our of your pathetic bubble for once and try something new, or just stop.
I actually really enjoyed that
Especially the animation style. Never have I seen the line tool used so stylistically. Very cool.
Simply amazing.
Still the most gorgeous, professional flash animation on the net, and this even tops all your other work so far! You are an inspiration to me.
Dude these are freaking great.
Keep making these. I'm adding you to my favorite artists.
YAY
Haha, dude, I don't even know what to say... but I liked it. Your weird, surreal style is truly one of a kind. You better win something for this.
Wow
It's really amazing how much you've improved since you started. The animation is really solid and some of the backgrounds are AMAZING. I wish I could draw backgrounds like that. :( To think about a year ago people were criticizing you for using filtered jpgs... heh.
My only criticism would be that you sometimes seem to use non-sequitors too much, as if any "lol random" thing Blockhead does should be funny. Personally I still think Episode 7 was your strongest, the humor seemed most inspired in that episode to me. It just gets kind of tiring and repetitive seeing Blockhead being random and the conscience always yelling at him in the EXACT SAME WAY.
You just gotta be a little more UNEXPECTED. ;)
Haha, quoth Stamper at Comic Con while playing an episode of Blockhead from the NG Booth, "Hey, nice traced bitmaps!"
Of course that was Episode 9, which featured some of my most hardcore animation from that time. I keep the filtered jpgs because of how childish they are. That's why I used them to begin with (or else I would not have drawn a background for Blockhead's living room).
I don't try to use non sequitors, I think people sometimes don't understand why Blockhead does something and then they assume I meant it that way. There's a method to the madness, to be sure. And don't forget, the Conscience doesn't get angry at all this episode. Not even a little.
No one can be before you when you alone possess the power to say I AM.
