SKELETONS.

I dunno man this cartoon was a little too spookeh and scareh for me.

I saw those spinning skullhead things from Witch Doctor. This video actually reminded me of Witch Doctor in a lot of ways... bright n' colorful fast paced wackiness with catchy music... which is always a good combination, haha.

ZekeySpaceyLizard responds:

I was wondering if anyone noticed I had ganked the little spinning skulls. You did the same thing in EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS WRONG. :)

Haha, wow.

That kid sure is disturbed.

Pure Genius

I haven't laughed that hard at a flash in a while.

Loved.

Wow, what a great concept. And you made it into a genuinely touching story that didn't seem cheesy or forced. Top job man, I honestly don't have any other words for this. Loved it.

YES!!! It's finally done!!!

So... this is the project you've been working on for what... a year and a half? Well, it seems to have paid off in spades. Everything looks AMAZING. The backgrounds were gorgeous and the animation is some of the most impressive I've ever seen. I like how you played around a lot with the perspective and camera angels too. :P Some things kind of reminded me of Vinnie Veritas's stuff.

MINOR NITPICK:
I thought the race started way too abruptly. It's like, the female character is just sitting there smoking when suddenly the male shows up and blurts out... "Ready? Set...?" I was like.. whoa, that was completely left field there. I felt like the race ended even more abruptly. What you really need is more anticipation. There was just one thing happening after another without much to really hold it all together.

I know that seems like a lot of criticism, but I seriously loved your movie and there were so many things about that were insanely well done. I'm still giving you a ten. ;)

Keep animating, man.

Didn't like.

So I click "watch this movie" and the first thing I see is Sonic in a ridiculously awkward pose poking his own nose... or something. WTF? Why the HELL would anyone draw a character like that?

I suppose this brings me to the main thing that bugged the crap out of me about this movie. The generic anime poses and expressions that have been used 50 trillion times made me want to tear out my eyes. x_x Not only is every drawing in this movie quite blatantly copied, but the drawings themselves look quite awkward and unnatural sometimes. The kind of fakeness that comes from trying to imitate something else is somehow even worse to look at than a drawing made from scratch even by someone with novice drawing skills. I'm also quite sick of Sonic and DBZ stuff by now. Please make something that hasn't already been done a million times already next time.

Didn't like at all.

V Oh yeah, feel free to mark my review as unhelpful, folks! :D V

Chakra-X responds:

Heh heh, well, the nose poke is an anime thing that Sonic does.

He's a hedgehog O_o, I'm not trying to do any groundbreaking poses/expressions.

I also find it hard to believe that I would copy hundreds of images, for 24000 frames =/

But, can't please everyone. The point of this movie wasn't originality, it was what I always wanted Sonic to do.

Neato.

You're really good at animating realistic human anatomy. That's not all that was impressive about this movie either, the whole thing was very nice looking and well done. "Novice in animation?" Psh. ;)

Some parts were kind of cheesy, particularly the part where the guy is screaming over the girls dead body, but that's just nitpicking. You've done well my good sir, very well.

God yes.

I love you... that 15 seconds or so of cartoon has to be some of the funnest animation I've seen on this site. XD Sure it's only a short short... but only a 3.24? Sheesh. If you did a full length cartoon in this style, you'd be like my hero. Of course... it'd probably take forever. (But it'd be worth it!)

Also, I LOVE loud annoying bleeps. They rule.

This is a one line summary.

Hahaha that was awesome. Great voice acting, animation, not to mention WTF premise for a cartoon. :D

A mastery masterpeice

I truly feel that this animation penetrates the deepest levels of the human soul.

No one can be before you when you alone possess the power to say I AM.
